Pasture Raised Chicken
Chickens were not designed to be raised in a barn, never see daylight, and never forage for food. Nor were they made to feed on one type of food for their entire existence. Today’s chicken confinement system does not allow a chicken to be a chicken. It just should not be that way.
Our chickens are raised in spacious pins that are moved daily. They get to forage on grass and bugs that happen into their pin. They get to scratch and dig through the grass like chickens do. They are allowed to express their chickenness. Because of the difference in the way they are raised, our chickens are healthier and need no antibiotics. They don’t cannibalize one another. They are not allowed to sit in mounds of their own filth. Simply, you are delivered a chicken that lived a good life. Now isn’t that better for all of us. Pork
There is nothing quite as good a hog raised on pasture and fed our special blend of feed (which contains no antibiotics or steroids). We offer our pork by the cut or as a half or whole hog.
What our customers have said about our pork, "I've eaten in a lot of really nice restaurants and have never eaten a pork chop as good as yours" Chris - Tazewell, Va Our Pasture Raised Rabbit is raised on our fields just like the rest of our animals. Rabbit is lean, high in protein, and omaga-3.
